Ship Photos & Facts

Royal II

The Royal II is modeled after the Royal Louis, a first-class battleship built in France in the 18th century that served as the flagship of the French fleet. The ambiance of the Royal Louis is recreated in details like the figurehead, decorations embellishing the ship’s interior and exterior, and the distinctive corridor at the rear of the ship. The interior of the First Class Cabin recreates the ambiance of this era in French history. Passengers on this new style of cruise can enjoy exploring the ship to find statues of the crew and the ship’s helm while taking in the majestic beauty of Lake Ashi. The ship is also equipped with barrier-free facilities.
